Line 10
Cluny - La Sorbonne

PreviousNext

Home to the famous University, this station used to be closed from the Second World War right up to February 1988. Before the reopening, it was simply known as Cluny. It was the interchange with the RER Lines B and C which prompted the reopening. Nowadays, it is one of the network's "Cultural Stations", complete with mosaics on the roof, in the shapes of various birds. Also included are signatures from famous alumni of the University. Also note the third track running through the middle of the station. This is a connection to Line 4 at Odéon, and is not used by trains in service.
